Exposition Caroline Moreau

The Tourist Office welcomes Limousin photographer Benoit PEYRAT for his exhibition "Les veilleurs du Plateau".

Through a sensitive, atmospheric approach, he captures the lights, mists and singular atmospheres of these natural spaces on the Plateau de Millevaches. His work, with its pictorial overtones, offers a poetic reading of the landscape, somewhere between contemplation and interpretation.
His photographs do not seek to describe a territory, but to approach its presence. The stage becomes a silent, almost inhabited space, criss-crossed by forms, traces and motionless figures that seem to stand watch.
Between softness and tension, light and darkness, this series explores what escapes the immediate gaze.
